Meet the Team of Property Experts at Cornish Escapes.

Louise.
Director.
Louise founded Cornish Escapes over fifteen years ago with her late husband John, originally known as Escape to St Ives. With more than 25 years of experience in the holiday industry, Louise continues to lead from the front, working closely with the team and property owners to ensure every guest enjoys a memorable stay and every holiday home reaches its full potential.
Passionate about helping holiday homes thrive, Louise keeps owners informed on market trends, legislation changes, seasonal offers, and fresh ideas to maximise bookings and enhance the guest experience. Her extensive knowledge of Cornwall, combined with years of industry expertise, has helped shape Cornish Escapes into a trusted and successful local brand known for its personal service and attention to detail.
A proud mum of two, Louise loves spending time with her family, whether enjoying Cornwall’s fantastic restaurants or travelling further afield. When it comes to local recommendations, she suggests visiting St Ives for its thriving art scene, including the Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden.

Connor.
Product Director.
As a Product Director at Cornish Escapes, Connor oversees the development of Cornish Escapes’ products and developments, legal and professional development, project management and delivery alongside company-wide analytics and financial reporting.
He is also the lead of all creative outputs at Cornish Escapes, developing our newly introduced owner suite, branding and art direction and our newly delivered Cornish Escapes website. Connor’s main objective is to ensure that Cornish Escapes continues to provide the best holidays to its guests through its continued brand success, whilst finding new ways to make the guest experiences with Cornish Escapes as enjoyable as possible.
When not plugging away on the spreadsheets, Connor is Cornish Escapes’ certified foodie. Having lived in Cornwall for over 20 years, he has built up quite the repertoire of places to eat and (especially) drink. Some of his favourites are Talay Thai in St Ives, alongside all of the fabulous food festivals scattered across Cornwall.

Emma.
Business Development Director.
As Business Development Director at Cornish Escapes, Emma plays a strategic role in driving the growth of both our brand and our owners’ success. Overseeing marketing, portfolio performance, recruitment and our sister brand Handpicked Cottages, she brings a wealth of industry insight to every aspect of the business.
With over 20 years of experience in the holiday rental market, Emma focuses on understanding evolving market trends and guest expectations to ensure the business stays ahead of the curve. Her goal is simple: to increase bookings for our owners while strengthening the visibility and reputation of our brands.
Outside of work, Emma makes the most of Cornwall’s stunning coastline. Her favourite walk is the St Ives to Zennor route - a challenging trek, but one she says is always worth it for the views and a well-earned pint at The Tinner’s Arms. Passionate about the lifestyle Cornwall offers, Emma loves exploring the county with her two daughters, from discovering family-friendly days out to attending local events such as the St Ives Food Festival, where she enjoys sampling some of the very best Cornish food and drink. When it is time to relax, she can often be found at Newlyn Film House catching the latest film or sharing recommendations on the best theatre productions and live performances across Cornwall.

Alex.
Operations Manager.
As Operations Manager for Cornish Escapes, Alex works closely with Louise, our Director, overseeing the day-to-day running of the business, supporting owners and integrating new holiday homes. He also ensures the company remains fully compliant with Fire Risk Assessments and Health & Safety regulations.
Alex’s love for Cornwall began during childhood holidays before relocating from the Midlands over twenty years ago. His local knowledge and passion for the county help guests discover the very best places to stay in Cornwall, from relaxing coastal retreats to family-friendly escapes.
When it comes to places to visit, Alex recommends exploring Cornwall’s beautiful National Trust locations and the picturesque fishing village of Port Isaac, famous for its harbour and traditional charm. For food, he highly recommends The Old Quay House in Hayle for a fantastic Sunday roast — especially popular with his family thanks to the outdoor play area.

Vicky.
Finance Controller.
Vicky has a supporting role behind the scenes controlling the finances and ensuring that Owners and suppliers are paid on time.
Vicky first joined Cornish Escapes in our Administration department before taking some time away to expand her family with the addition of her beautiful baby boy.
When she isn’t checking the numbers, Vicky loves taking her son and dog to explore Cornwall’s many amazing gardens. Her personal favourites are Trebah Gardens near Falmouth and The Lost Gardens of Heligan near Mevagissey.

Lynne.
Administrator.
Friendly, helpful and outgoing, Lynne is the perfect person to look after our guests. Always happy to help with holiday reservations and enquiries, no query is too small!
Lynne moved to Cornwall from the Wirral twenty years ago with her husband. She loves travelling throughout Asia and cocktails in St Ives.
With a love of beautiful scenery, Lynne’s favourite spot in Cornwall is the stunning Lizard Peninsula and Kynance Cove. If you fancy a visit, we recommend getting there early to avoid the rush!

Arianna.
Property Services Administrator.
Ariana is our Property Services Administrator, making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes so each property is perfectly prepared for guest arrivals. Having been with Cornish Escapes for the past nine months, she has become a friendly and reliable link between our trades, our team, and our homeowners. Ariana moved to St Ives 12 years ago to be with her husband and has loved calling the town home ever since.
When she’s not coordinating schedules or checking in on upcoming stays, Ariana loves spending time with her two children - whether they are heading to the beach or visiting Nance Fishing Lakes for a well-earned Moomaid ice cream. When she gets the chance to enjoy a meal out, her favourite spot in town is Talay Thai, where she can unwind with a cocktail.

Fiona.
Project Administrator.
Fi is a Project Administrator with an IT background, providing project support across a range of initiatives throughout the business.
One of the aspects Fi enjoys most about her role is the variety it offers. Every project presents new challenges, opportunities to develop her knowledge and the chance to collaborate with colleagues. She finds it rewarding to contribute to successful project delivery, supporting teams as they overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
Outside of work, Fi enjoys good food, gardening and playing tennis. She is married with two adult children and enjoys spending time with the family and friends, whether at home, in the garden, or eating out.
