“This was our second time staying at Del Mar and once again we had a great time. The house had great views and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We had a great time trying all the different restaurants and would definitely recommend The Hub for a burger, The West Grill for Greek food and The Portminster Kitchen for a Sunday roast. Throughout the week we spent a lot of time walking the dogs along the beaches and would definitely recommend going to Gwithian beach. The Kabyn Café on Gwithian beach also has the best hot chocolate and lovely food. Thank you for a wonderful stay.”

“We have had another wonderful stay at Del Mar. We relax as soon as we come through the front door. The weather has been mixed but typically Cornish. Mizzly and drizzly one minute, wait 5 minutes and the sun comes out! This house is so welcoming and comfortable and we’ll never tire of the view.”

“We’re back! Second time at the ranch and unlike that difficult second album, “Del Mar the Return” came back with a roar! This house is just so welcoming, the town has such a fun vibe, and the beaches as always did not let the Cornish reputation down. Can’t wait for round 3! ps Never trust the weather forecast - it was meant to be overcast and the sun shone all weekend! 😊”

“We wish we could stay longer! The house is fabulous and the view is beautiful. Lovely to sit on the balcony and enjoy breakfast. Every possible thing has been thought about. The room layout is good because the upper floor gives privacy to the grandparents, whilst the rest of the family is on the bottom floor. The Hub was a good venue for drinks and food plus people watching. Beware of the seagulls if you have food! The path at the left of the property is a short cut down to Porthminster beach. The coastal path is a lovely walk but if you want to come back to St Ives on the train, beware of the train times and stops. If you go out in the car to visit places it is worth checking what parking app is used to pay for parking or check before you go! Thank you Del Mar, recommendations on the board are spot on! We even swam in the sea! Great outdoor shower for when we came back! Very stylish décor and comfortable beds! Thank goodness for the wonderful fans as we had really nice weather. “Fabulous house, well kitted out with plenty of crockery, something not all holiday lets have, lots of little things around the house too, love the notes and labels! Great suggestions, we tried the pizza at Host, delicious Cajun chicken ciabatta at Kabyn Cafe; on the beach at Gwithian; windy day but lovely beach to visit plus lovely food, even seen a couple of seals! Best coffee I have had in a while from Yallah Cafe; Morning swims in the sea, a bit chilly but very refreshing. A fantastic find and will definitely be coming back in the future, love it here. Thank you.”

“We adore St Ives and have stayed here many times, but this has been the best holiday home we have stayed in. The weather was due to be poor all week, but we had brilliant sunshine for the second half which was fabulous, especially with the food festival on.
